Senior Strength + Rehabilitation Training

Maintain Your Independence Through Strength
Strength training for seniors is essential for preserving your ability to perform daily activities with ease and confidence—from carrying groceries to playing with grandchildren. At Intisar Fitness, we provide expert guidance and personalized programs to help seniors build the functional strength that supports an independent, vibrant life through in-home training across Toronto.

Build Strength for a More Independent Life

Guided by Kinesiology and Nursing, we create safe, adapted exercise programs for all fitness levels and health conditions.

Why Strength Training is Essential After 60

  • We naturally lose 3-8% of muscle mass per decade after age 30

  • This accelerates to 4.5% muscle loss per decade after age 60

  • Consistent strength training helps maintain function, mobility, and independence

  • No one is too old to benefit from strength training

Beyond Training: Comprehensive Senior Care

A message from our founder:

“I believe in supporting the whole person, not just delivering workouts. When one of my clients fell while she was alone, I went to the Emergency Department and stayed with her throughout what would have been our session. I contacted her daughter abroad so they could speak. I spoke with the nurse to gather information and updates and used my nursing background to interpret the information and connect it to her previous health history. Because of my education, I was able to help guide my client and her family on a recovery plan.”

Additional support we regularly provide:

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with client’s team members

  • Technology assistance (iPad/phone setup)

  • Ongoing communication with family members

“We do this not because we have to, but because we genuinely care about making seniors’ lives easier and brighter.”
